Top, left corner is torn off with a crease emanating from the tear. Top, right corner of torn off. A .25" dent is present on the middle left edge. Multiple tape pieces are affixed to the back. Item is in bad condition.

Monday morning, July 21, 1969. Headline states "MAN LANDS ON MOON 'Eagle Has Landed,' Astronauts Say." Item has two perpendicular creases that meet in the center of item. Item is in very good condition.

Description 14.75" 11.50" The Times Union. Front: Title of article is "ON THE MOON!" The page is fading and has yellowed since being printed. The article begins with "SPACE CENTER, Houston (AP) - Man landed on the moon at 4:18 p.m. EDT, Sunday, July 20, 1969." (For more on article see picture or contact Outreach Staff) Toward the middle and bottom right there are three pictures of an artist's conception of the moon landing, Astronaut Edwin E. Aldrin Jr. and Astronaut Neil A. Armstrong. Toward the bottom there is a piece ripped off of the right side of the newspaper. There is periodic tattering along the edges. The very bottom of the page has 7 holes punched in. Item has 2 pages. Item is in good condition. The Times Union, 1969.
