Conrad was the third man to walk on the moon, Bean was the fourth. Gordon stayed in orbit. Shipped from LBJ Space Center. Currently held in the Orland Park Public Library NASA Special Collection. Purpose Apollo 12 was the second lunar landing. Crew included Charles Conrad, Jr., Richard F. Gordon and Alan L. Bean. Mission objectives were to " gather seismic, scientific and engineering data throughout a long period of time."
