Looking for ebooks, magazines, or movies for your digital device? We have several collections to choose from. You need a current Orland Park Public Library Card, a valid email address, and an internet connection.
Digital Movies, Music, Comics, Ebooks, and Audiobooks
Download digital media to compatible tablets and smartphones or stream to your computer. You need the hoopla app for mobile devices or the Widevine plugin on your computer to view video. Most video content is available for 72 hours (3 days) after borrowing. Music albums are available for 7 days, and audiobooks are available for 21 days. Limit 20 downloads per month per patron.

Digital Magazines and Audiobooks
Download digital magazines and audiobooks to computers and compatible tablets and smartphones.
You need the RBdigital app for mobile devices or Adobe Flash on your computer to read the magazines.
Download magazines from RBdigital website. Digital magazine titles are not listed in the Polaris catalog.
New Addition: Download Audiobooks
Please Note:The former downloadable magazine service, Zinio, has changed its name to RBdigital and has a new app. The RBdigital app is available for Android, iOS, and Kindle Fire.
Starting August 1, a notification within the current Zinio for Libraries app will alert you to the availability of the new RBdigital app and give the option to download.
The Zinio for Libraries app will become obsolete by the end of September, so make sure to update to the new app soon (your login credentials will remain the same).
BiblioBoard
A collection of ebooks that is available to any Illinois resident. Working across all mobile and web platforms and offering unlimited multi-user access, this service’s content grows daily and features works from traditional publishers, historical archives, cultural institutions, and independent authors.
The BiblioBoard platform features four collections:
- Recovering the Classics: featuring public-domain classics from world literature, with modern cover images.
- Popup Picks: featuring titles that will change quarterly and will include hand-curated ebooks from expert librarian curators.
- The Bodleian Library collection: featuring items from Oxford University's Bodleian Library.
- The Biblioboard Core collection: featuring articles, images, books, etc. spanning a wide range of topics.
Also, you can search our catalog for a single title or author, or search "recovering the classics” to display the entire list (102 ebooks). You may read the book right away as a guest or create an account and read it.
