Volunteer at the Library
The mission of the Orland Park Public Library volunteer program is to give surrounding community members fulfilling opportunities to use their skills to provide public service to the community; to supplement the efforts of paid library staff in meeting demands for quality public service; and to further the relationship between the public library and the community it serves.

The first step for those interested in volunteering is to complete a volunteer application, either online or by picking one up and returning it at the Information Desk in the library lobby. Adults, including college students, need to complete the Adult Volunteer application.
If you are interested in the teen volunteer program, please call Erin Faxel 708-428-5140 for assistance.
Applications are processed as they are received. Placement of volunteers occurs as positions and projections become available. If you have questions about volunteering at the Orland Park Public Library, please call Mary Adamowski at 708-428-5202 or email her at madamowski@orlandparklibrary.org.
