Description 11.125" X 8.25" Newsweek. Front: (Top to bottom) August 11, 1969 50¢. Moonwalk In Color. Astronaut takes up most of the front page, the backdrop is the moon, as well as space. Slightly crinkled and tattered around edges. Bottom left corner has 2 two glue streak remnants. Back: (Top to bottom) "Rough taste rub you wrong?" "Come up to KOOL." "It's smooth." Cigarette box and lily pad centers the white backdrop. Crinkled upper left corner. Item has 88 pages. Item is in very good condition. Newsweek, 1969.

Description 13" X 10" pink plastic bag with five pouch patterns enclosed. Included: Cable Pouch Assys of the following SKU #'s, AF9J, AF9K, KZ4V, AF9L, AF9M. Item is in used condition. Items included are good condition.

Provenance Shipped from LBJ Space Center. Currently held in the Orland Park Public Library NASA Special Collection. Not flown. Patterns were used to create various textile based equipment for the Shuttle Missions. Part of order 11-2.

Purpose Patterns or templates are used to make an array of soft products for the astronauts to use and wear. Patterns are made of manila card stock and have markings indicating where certain seams match. In 1965, master patterns were flown to Philadelphia to be photographed so that each pattern shape was preserved.
